RackBuddy X Gustav Ovland
Gustav Ovland from 'Husdrömmar' fell in love with an abandoned ruin with no walls or roof. The ruins were what remained of an old starch factory from the 19th century.
SOLUTIONS THAT PRESERVE THE HERITAGE OF THE FACTORY
In the interior design programme "Husdrömmar" or "House Dreams", you can follow Gustav as he transforms the old factory ruin into a stunningly beautiful home.
To help Gustav decorate his dream home, we assisted with clothes racks tailored to the house's hallway. Here, Gustav chose our dark pipes and chests of drawers with smoked oak shelves to complement the rest of the house's decor. The raw and industrial pipes fit perfectly with the heritage and history of the factory.
One of the reasons Gustav chose RackBuddy was the many ways he could customize the racks to fit his home. With our expert design team, everyone can be helped to find individual solutions - whether you have odd dimensions, narrow ceilings or tight spaces. We'll make sure you can use every inch of your home.
"So many possibilities and fits everywhere"
For Gustav, it is important that the furnishings match both the history of the house and his personal style. Each piece of furniture is carefully selected to blend in with the industrial yet natural look of the house.
So for his bespoke wardrobe solution in the hall, Gustav has chosen to go with a combination of wood and iron pipes - namely our Dresser Collection. A combination that fits perfectly with the refurbished starch factory. You can see our solutions from The Dresser Collection here.
